What is Power BI?

If you’ve heard about Power BI and are not sure what it’s all about, or even if you haven’t heard of it before and want to check out one of Microsoft’s cool new products, we’ve created a video which takes you through the basics.

In this 30 minute video, our Power BI Chief Instructor and Curriculum Designer, Steve Atherton, will take you through a high level overview of the process for report creation and then give a demonstration of creating a report from scratch from a table in Microsoft Excel.

Steve will be covering the following topics:

  • What is Power BI and what does it do?
  • The high level report design and creation process.
  • A demonstration of creating a report page from a simple table.
  • What does is cost to use and what’s next if you’re interesting in exploring further?
