Course Booking and Support Terms and Conditions

  • You may cancel or reschedule without penalty up to 12pm (midday) on the business day prior to the first session of a course.
  • We never cancel on you if we can avoid it. If we are forced to, then in addition to free rescheduling or cancelation, you receive up to 20% off your next course in compensation.
  • We provide a 100% money back guarantee where an attendee is dissatisfied with the course they attended.
  • We provide complementary post-course support to assist past students to transfer the skills and knowledge they learned on the course to their workplace.
  • All course fees must be paid in full at the time of booking the course to secure attendance.
  • Pricing displayed is inclusive of GST.
  • An attendee must have met any course pre-requisites prior to the first session of the course.

Detailed Terms and Conditions

  • In these terms and conditions, we or us means Just in Time Learning and Support Pty Ltd (ACN 658 690 441) and course shall include any course, seminar or event.
  • Please read these terms and conditions carefully as they apply to all bookings on all courses, seminars or events provided by Just in Time Learning and Support Pty Ltd, regardless of the method of booking. By using this Site you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • We may revise these terms and conditions from time to time by updating this posting. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted.

Registration and Booking Fees

  • All course, seminar or event fees must be paid in full at the time of booking the course to secure attendance.
  • Pricing displayed is inclusive of GST.
  • Payment can be made by credit card online at the end of the booking process.
  • All registrations are confirmed via email before the program starts.

Cancellations, Rescheduling and Substitutions

  • We recognise that plans can change, and we aim to be flexible to help those who have booked achieve their learning aims without additional cost.
  • We generally allow cancellations and rescheduling requests at no cost up to 12pm (midday) on the business day prior to the first session of a course.
  • After this time a ‘late-notice fee’ may be charged to compensate the instructor for their preparation time and schedule disruption. See below for the specific fees and cut-off times.
  • Any ‘late-notice fee’ is payable for each attendee being cancelled of rescheduled.
  • Cancellations, Rescheduling requests and Substitutions must be made or approved in writing by the person who booked the course via email (helpme@jitlas.com) or contact form (click here).
  • We understand that on occasions, there may be compassionate reasons for a schedule change beyond the control of the attendee. In such cases any fees may be waived at the discretion of Just In Time Learning and Support. Please contact us to discuss this option if such circumstance arises.
Cancellations
  • We allow cancellations with full refund up to 12pm (midday) on the business day prior to the first session of a course.
  • Cancellations after this time and before the start of the first session of a course will incur a late-notice charge of 20% of the course fee, the remaining 80% will be refunded.
  • Cancellations where a attendee has already attended at least one session of a multi-session course will incur a charge based on the percentage of the sessions attended. The remainder will be refunded. For example, cancellation after 1 session of a 4 session course will incur a charge of 25% of the course cost. The remaining 75% of the course cost will be refunded.
Rescheduling
  • We allow rescheduling at no cost up to 12pm (midday) on the business day prior to the session of a course the attendee is booked on.
  • Requests to rescheduling after this time will incur an additional late-notice charge of 20% of the course fee for each reschedule request.
  • Any additional fee must be paid prior to the attendee(s) being booked on an alternate course or session.
  • Although we will attempt to ensure the rescheduled course dates are close to the original course dates, we reserve the right to prioritise rescheduling the attendee on the next running course before rescheduling them on an empty course, or scheduling a new course for them to attend.
Substitutions
  • Substitutions may be made at no cost at any time prior to the first session of a course, however we appreciate you letting us know ass soon as you become aware of the requirement to substitute.
  • The same attendee must attend all session of a multi-session course and substitutions cannot be made for one or more sessions once the first session has been attended.
  • The substitute attendee must have met all of the pre-requisite requirements for the course. They will be subject to the Course pre-requisite conditions below.
No shows
  • In the case where an attendee does not show up for any session of the course and no prior notification has been provided, we will attempt to contact the person who booked the course and offer them a cancellation (with late notice fees) or a rescheduling option (with late notice fees) as per the previous sections.
  • If we are unable to contact the person who booked the course within 7 days, we will process the booking as a cancellation (with late notice fees).

Course pre-requisites

  • Some courses come with pre-requisite skills, knowledge or experience. We set these pre-requisites to ensure that the attendees can understand and assimilate the level and range of topics taught on the course.
  • All pre-requisites are made clear on the course detail page on the Just in Time Learning and Support website (justintime.global).
  • An attendee must have met all pre-requisites prior to the first session of the course.
  • The instructor has the right to make an assessment as to whether an attendee has the pre-requisite skills, knowledge or experience as the course progresses.
  • Due to the short nature of the course sessions, we cannot hold up any class for an attendee who has not met the pre-requisites.
  • Attendees who have not met the pre-requisites will be given the option to:
    • Cancel (with late notice fee) as detailed in the sections above.
    • Reschedule (with late notice fee) as detailed in the sections above, to the same course at a later date so that they can complete the pre-requisites prior to the new course dates.
    • Use the cancellation refundable amount (as detailed in the sections above) as a credit on another Just in Time Learning and Support course for which they have met the pre-requisites.

If we Cancel or Reschedule a course

  • It is our aim to never cancel or reschedule a course on which an attendee has already booked, however sometimes there are unavoidable situations or scheduling issues for the instructor.
  • If we are forced to cancel or reschedule a course, then your are free to cancel your booking, or reschedule to another date that suits you (if the rescheduled dates do not) without penalty.
  • In addition, we offer the following compensation:
    • For a course or session which is cancelled or rescheduled up to 7 days before the start of the first session being rescheduled, we will provide a code for a 10% discount on any future course.
    • For a course or session which is cancelled or rescheduled within 7 days of the start of the first session being rescheduled, we will provide a code for a 20% discount on any future course.

Money-back guarantee

  • If any attendee is unhappy with the content, methods or outcomes of the course they have attended, and the reason for their dissatisfaction is within the control of Just in Time Learning and Support, we will provide a 100% refund for the cost of the course.
  • Although this is guaranteed, we will try to ascertain from the attendee the reason for their dissatisfaction so that we can make improvements to ensure our courses remain at the highest standard.

Post-course support

  • We offer complimentary and indefinite post-course support to assist all of our students to assimilate and apply the knowledge and skills they learned on our courses.
  • Support requests can be made using our support ticketing system (once available), or by emailing us as helpme@jitlas.com.
  • Post-course support can be used to ask questions about, or for clarification or re-explanation of topics covered on the course.
  • Post-course support does not include advice or consulting on how to apply the knowledge learned on the course to an attendees specific data or job role.
  • At our discretion, and the discretion of the instructor, we may elect to assist the attendee with general advice on how to apply the knowledge learned on the course to an attendees specific data or job role, however this is general advice only. It is not to be taken as professional or consulting advice.
  • Any assistance or advice provided is general and provided as is, and to the best knowledge of the Instructor providing the advice and liability is limited as detailed in the Limited Liability sections. It is the responsibility of the previous student to further research and test any advice provided on a sample set of their data.
  • Post-course support for a course subject area will provided to the extent that Just in Time Learning and Support has a contracted instructor or consultant with expertise in that subject area.
  • Post-course support is subject to a reasonable use policy. Although we may answer more, we reserve the right to restrict the number of support requests answered to 6 requests in any 6 month period.

Limited Liability

  • While all care is taken in the research and accuracy of the information presented in and published for our courses, including any post-course support services and advice, Just in Time Learning and Support Pty Ltd does not make any representations or give any warranties about its accuracy, reliability, completeness or suitability for any particular purpose.
  • To the extent permissible by law, Just in Time Learning and Support Pty Ltd will not be liable for any expenses, losses, damages (including indirect or consequential damages) or costs which might be incurred as a result of the information being inaccurate or incomplete in any way and for any reason.

Privacy and Attendee Personal Information

  • If an employer has paid for the Just in Time Learning and Support Course, Seminar or Event, it is a condition of the attendee’s enrolment that Just in Time Learning and Support may disclose details of their attendance and assessment to their employer.
  • Just in Time Learning and Support will not otherwise disclose atendee personal information to other individuals or organisations except in accordance with the Just in Time Learning and Support Privacy Policy
  • If an organisation representative has booked an attendee on a course, seminar or event, the organisation warrants that it has obtained your consent to disclose your personal information to Just in Time Learning and Support and for Just in Time Learning and Support to disclose details of your attendance and assessment.
