How it works
Virtual, live and interactive.
Instructor led, practical and interactive classes from wherever you are.
Our courses use Zoom to provide a virtual, live Instructor-lead interactive environment from anywhere a participant has an internet connection.
Participants join the class on the day of the course (using a zoom link provided before the course) and interact live with the Instructor and up to 5 other participants.
The instructor will share their screen and guide participants through the course content. Participants follow along with the instructor on their computer or laptop using their copy of the exercise files.
Participants can ask questions at any time or get help from the Instructor if they don’t understand something or get stuck on an exercise.
Short sessions and small class sizes.
Staying focused and retaining new information just got easier.
All our courses consist of one or more ½ day sessions and have a maximum of 6 participants.
What does this mean as a participant?
- You’re fresher and only need to focus for shorter periods.
- You’re not out of the office for days at a time, so you won’t have the added stress of falling behind at work.
- You can practice what you’ve learned between sessions, and ask relevant questions at the next session.
- You’ve got more of the instructor’s attention and the pace can be adjusted to ensure everyone keeps up.
- You’ll find it easier to grasp new concepts and retain what you’ve learned.
One or more ½ day sessions.
Keep up with your workload and practice as you go.

Before your course.
Check out the pre-course info page to make sure you're all ready to go.
Before the first session of the course, participants will be sent an email with information about the course and a link to a pre-course information page.
The pre-course information page contains important information and a pre-course checklist participants need to work through well in advance of their first session. This is to ensure they are set up correctly, have all the necessary software installed and any references and exercise files downloaded.
For some courses there are some pre-course videos to watch or learning to complete which contain high level concepts or overviews. This allows the Instructor to focus on the practical aspects of learning in the live sessions.
How a Live Session works.
3 hours of focused learning with plenty of breaks.
Each ½ day session runs from 9:00 to 12:30, with a 15-minute window to connect to the classroom from 8:45 with timings as shown below.

Course Materials.
References and cheat sheets you will actually use back at your desk.
Most traditional training providers provide a big, thick training manual, specific to the exercises on the course, which usually just sits on a shelf back at work collecting dust.
At Just in Time Learning and Support, our courses come with:
- A recommend reference book, which participants can purchase separately if they need to. Included are cross references to the course topics so participants can easily find the information they want when they’re back at their desk.
- The student files participants download also include reference information, all relevant data files, templates and copies of any PowerPoint slides used in the course.
- Many courses also come with ‘cheat sheets’ which provide a quick reference to the most important concepts and ‘How to …’ information.
- We also provide a list of links to useful web sites, blogs and online reference pages, which is how people work in the real world.
Our focus is on providing reference materials which you will actually use back at work rather than dusty tomes you’ll never look at again.

Post-course support.
Just because you're gone - doesn't mean you're forgotten!
We understand that there is a lot to learn and it often takes a while and some practice before you’ll master the skills taught. You may forget some things, or maybe you won’t use some of the skills for a little while.
We don’t forget about you the moment you’ve paid up and left the classroom. We genuinely want to help you on your learning journey and support you until you are competent and confident.
Every course comes with complimentary post-course support, so you can get ongoing help from your instructor when you forget how to do something, or need a point in the right direction.
In addition to this (at your option) we can also keep you up to date with the latest product news, new features, hints and tips, bonus topics and any updates in the course cheat sheets and data files.
To access this support, simply email us at helpme@jitlas.com and we’ll get right back to you.
