About Us
Just in Time Learning and Support Pty Ltd provides Power BI Learning and Support services to small and large organisations in Perth and throughout Australia.
Through our Power BI Learning and Support service, we provide training, consulting and support services to help organisations extract meaningful insights about their business from the data they’re already collecting. We specialise in helping organisations connect to and tidy their data, and create powerful, interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI and Power Query.

Why we want to be better than traditional training providers
Just in Time Learning and Support was born from frustration with the high volume, low quality and in-human service mentality that seems to be prevalent in many modern day businesses as they try to grow whilst cutting personnel costs.
Stay Small – Serve Big. We were looking or a way to start small (with high quality service and human based, personalised support) and scale this as we grow to keep a “Stay Small – Serve Big” approach. And we think we’ve found it!
Better Learning Outcomes. We also wanted to move away from the traditional instructor lead training options which seem to suit the training providers above the training participants and find a way to provide better learning outcomes for course attendees.
Traditional training providers. Most traditional training providers tend to have large overheads, and therefore need to adopt practices and attitudes which are not always in the best interests of their clients and attendees, simply in order to keep the business running and profitable.
Some of these practices and attitudes are:
- A focus on ‘bums on seats’ (as it’s known in the industry) and packing as many people as possible onto a single course
- Only running full day or multi-day courses, as shorter courses take up a classroom for a day for only half a day’s income.
- Paying the instructors as little as they will take to keep turning up and do the job.
We think we've found a better way ...
With the advance of technology and some of the shifts in thinking the COVID-19 pandemic forced on us, there are now some better options which weren’t available 5 or 10 years ago. These options mean better outcomes for clients and their budgets, as well as learning outcomes and quality for the course attendees, but which still allows our business to keep operating and making reasonable profits.
All courses at Just in Time Learning and Support are run over one or more 1/2 day sessions with a maximum of 6 participants per course. Participants join a virtual classroom using Zoom, and the instructor leads the class through the concepts in a fully interactive way, allowing for questions and any clarifications the participants need. Participants also follow along with the instructor to complete the practical examples and exercises on their PC. You can learn more about how our courses and session work by clicking here (opens in a new tab).
Here are a summary of some of the ways we provide better outcomes for clients and attendees.

Who's on the team?
Geraldine Bevis
CEO and Client Services Manager

From international education and student recruitment, to investor relations, to strategy and planning adviser, Geraldine Bevis brings a wealth of diverse experience to Just in Time Learning and Support (JITLAS).
Geraldine is passionate about her company’s vision for staying small and serving big, having experienced the impersonal way publicly listed companies often reduce customers to numbers on a spreadsheet as they grow. She intends to keep JITLAS free from the pressures of shareholders and boards and find a way to start small, with high quality service and human based, personalised support, and scale this as we grow to always keep our “Stay Small – Serve Big” approach.
When Geraldine isn’t at work, one of her greatest joys is learning new languages. Geraldine finds language acquisition to be a gateway to understanding and connecting with people from different backgrounds and perspectives. She gets excited by the challenges of Japanese kanji characters or the nuances of Italian verb conjugations!
Geraldine loves a chat and brainstorming ways in which we can use our expertise to help your company achieve it’s goals, regardless of whether you’re a sole operator or a large multinational. Every client is just as important to us. Feel free to contact her for a chat.
